DOLE XI turns over P25-million to DavSur for TUPAD

DAVAO CITY– The Provincial Government of Davao del Sur  received a P25-million cash assistance for the implementation of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD).

The assistance is intended for constituents badly hit by the series of earthquakes in 2019, hog growers hit by the African Swine Fever disease, and the present situation on the pandemic COVID-19 disease.

The fund will be used for community disinfection in the 9 municipalities and 1 city of the province. The beneficiaries who totaled 4,173 will be working for 15 days at a minimum wage of 396.00 pesos.

The cash assistance which was turned over by DOLE XI Raymundo G. Agravante was received by a representative of Governor Douglas Cagas, and Davao del Sur PESO Manager Rolly Impas, and witnessed by DOLE DSFO Chief Reynaldo Dennis V. Badilles, DOLE XI TSSD OIC-Chief Paul V. Cruz, DOLE XI Regional Focal on Employment Marlito D. Ayala, IGACOS DOLE Satellite Office Head Leo Ariel A. Pepino, and some DOLE DSFO personnel.
