BAGUIO CITY, May 16(PIA) – With Baguio City and Benguet now under General Community Quarantine, the Social Security Services (SSS) offices here will open starting Monday (May 18) but preventive measures will be observed for the safety of personnel and the transacting members from the corona virus(COVID-19).
In the advisories of both the SSS Baguio and La Trinidad branches, they will implement number coding arrangement for all walk in transactions including payment of contributions and loans. This is to observe social distancing as provided under the GCQ guidelines.
The last digit of the members’ SSS number or Employers Registration(ER) ID No. is given a scheduled day.
For those with last digit of 1 and 2 are scheduled on Monday; 3 and 4 – Tuesday; 5 and 6- Wednesday; 7 and 8-Thursday, and 9 and 0- Friday.
Only transacting members are allowed entry in the office, and strictly no individual 21 years and below and 60 years old and above. A member who has temperature of 37.5ᵒC and above shall be denied entry.
Transacting members are required to wear facemask, it’s no mask, no entry. They are also advised to bring their own pen, preferably black.
The SSS advises that for certain transactions that are not available on-line and those that are processed and completed solely by the branch where physical presence of the customers is not required, these maybe \submitted/received thru drop box.(JDP/PIA CAR)
