CEBU CITY, May 18 (PIA) -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is conducting a nationwide survey to assess the readiness of school facilities and other training institutions for the delivery of their services amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
TESDA-7 Supervising TESD Specialist Clarisse Geraldo said during the “Straight from the Source” interview that they are currently gathering inputs from the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) on how to come up with interventions that will not affect their services considering the social and physical distancing policy during this pandemic or Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
TESDA-7 is also offering mobile social programs to the barangays, although assessment needs to be done in some areas especially on their internet connectivity.
Amid the challenges, TESDA-7 will continue to evaluate and find solutions to continue their commitment to being a partner to their stakeholders and show support to the public in line with their mandate to manage and supervise technical education and skills development. (hfg/PIA7)
