PASIG CITY, June 8 (PIA) – The Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program or number coding scheme remains suspended, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
In an advisory, MMDA said that the number coding scheme is still suspended until further notice due to the limited operations of public transportation in Mero Manila which is under the general community quarantine (GCQ).
“The number coding suspension is for public mobility to continue and assist the motorists, particularly those reporting for work,” according to MMDA.
The MMDA added that the postponement will give time for the necessary transport augmentations to be established to help NCR workers during GCQ. (MMDA/PIA-NCR)
