PASIG CITY, July 9 (PIA) – State-run social insurance institution Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will offer a computer loan program next month.
During the Pre-SONA Forum on Wednesday, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez said that the GSIS will offer on August 1 the new computer loan program to its members.
Dominguez said that the P30,000 computer loan program will be available to GSIS active members to help them purchase a laptop or desktop that they can use in working from home or distance learning or online classes.
The computer loan program is payable in three years at six percent (6%) interest rate.
Dominguez said that the loan program is one of the initiatives of the government to help families and businesses through credit facilities and services extended by Government Financial Institutions (GFIs) like the GSIS. (PIA-NCR)
