TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Aug. 12 (PIA) - - The Department of Health (DOH) region 2 has already recorded 510 over-all cases of Corona Virus Disease 2019 in Cagayan Valley region, 501 are the actual cases for the region while nine for National Capital Region.
In the latest report of the Health Education and Promotions Units, 14 of the newly added positive cases are from Isabela province while one for Cagayan.
These latest confirmed cases include CV 492, a 46-year-old female from the City of Ilagan, Isabela who was exposed to CV 398. She experienced colds and cough and now on home quarantine.
CV 493 is a 77-year-old female from Santiago City who arrived from New York, United States of America. She is symptomatic and on home quarantine.
CV 494 is a 12-year-old female from Solana, Cagayan who was exposed to CV 414 and 415. She is asymptomatic and on home quarantine.
The next three cases, CV 495 who is a 45-year-old male, CV 496 who is an 18-year-old female, and CV 497 who is a 45-year-old female, are all from the City of Ilagan who were all exposed to CV 392, CV 393 and CV 394. All of them experienced inflammation of the throat, cough and colds and they are now at San Antonio City of Ilagan Hospital.
CV 498 is a 23-year-old female from Tumauini,Isabela who was also exposed with CV 469. She is asymptomatic and now at the LGU quarantine facility.
CV 499 is a 42-year-old female from the City of Ilagan who arrived from Manila via private vehicle. She experienced difficulty of breathing and now at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC).
CV 500 is a 2-year-old female from Aurora, Isabela who arrived from Sampaloc, Manila . She is asymptomatic and now at the LGU quarantine facility while CV 501 is a 38-year-old male from the City of Ilagan who was exposed to CV 399, also asymptomatic and now at the San Antonio City of Ilagan Hospital.
CV 502 is a 38-year-old male from the City of Ilagan who had an exposure with CV 399. He is asymptomatic and now at now on home quarantine.
CV 503 is a 36-year-old male from Roxas, Isabela who arrived from Manila. He is asymptomatic and now at CVMC.
CV 504 is a 25-year-old male from the City of Ilagan who arrived from Saudi Arabia. He is also asymptomatic and now at the San Antonio City of Ilagan Hospital.
CV 505 is a 29-year-old male from Aurora, Isabela who arrived from Navotas . He is asymptomatic and now at the LGU quarantine facility.
CV 506 is 51-year-old female from Cabagan, Isabela who was exposed to CV 411, CV 402 and CV 319. She experienced swelling of throat and headache and now at the LGU quarantine facility.
Rio L. Magpantay, regional director, said contact tracing is now being undertaken by concerned officials in the areas where the positive cases reside and determining their possible close contacts from other places subject for isolation and testing.
