CATARMAN, Northern Samar, August 10 (PIA) - The newly-installed Officer-in-Charge of the Northern Samar Provincial Police Office (NSPPO) Police Col. Arnel J. Apud assured sustained peace and order in the province.
This he said during the PIA’s radio program Huruhimangraw sa Panginudto at DYSM on August 7.
The provincial command is doing its best to thwart any untoward incident like illegal drugs, illegal logging, illegal gambling, and insurgency that may occur during this trying times and for the police officers and men on the ground to strictly observe and carry out regular routine function in keeping peace and order.
The new provincial director was proud to inform the public of its one time big time operations which resulted to the arrest of the 11 most wanted individuals and one of them is included in the top ten list of the most wanted persons.
He then conducted ocular inspection to some Municipal Police Stations to ensure that Chief of Police under his command, perform its functions, duties, and responsibilities according to the set of standard that will gain trust, confidence, cooperation, and support from the community.
He also reminded the men and officers under his watch to follow the directive of PNP Regional Director Police Brigadier General Bernabe Balba to be Malinis, Magalang, at Maaasahan.
Lastly, Col. Apud appealed to the public to actively support the new leadership and report to their office any untoward incident to ensure public safety. (nbq/TBC/PIA-Northern Samar)
