PDRRMO pours more aid to sustain NV's efforts vs. COVID-19 

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Aug. 19 (PIA) - The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Office (PDRRMO) here has provided assistance in the acquisition of various facilities to boost the province's resources and sustained efforts to fight COVID-19.

Robert Corpuz, PDRRM Officer said they have facilitated the proposal for the 2 units of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - standard 1 storey Health Facilities Container Van with 1 Swabbing Booth.

"This will help in alleviating the daily operational challenges during this time of pandemic, particularly in Dupax District Hospital (DDH)," he said.

The Nueva Vizcaya PDRRMO recently facilitated the acquisition of various facilities and PPEs to boost the  province's resources and sustain its efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of these facilities and PPEs were already given to health centers and hospitals.# PIA Photo

Corpuz also bared that they have facilitated the provision of Specimen Collection Booth (SCB) from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Health (DOH) .

The SCB, he added was turned - over to the Provincial Integrated Health Office (PIHO) early this month.

Corpuz further said that they have already procured at least 10,300 units of PPEs from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and the DOST in Cagayan Valley where the Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC) was given 5,000 units of PPEs for use of its frontline health workers.
