TACLOBAN CITY, Setyembre 12 (PIA) -- Patuloy pa rin ang pagtanggap ng mga Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) sa Eastern Visayas.
Sa pakikipanayam ng Philippine Information Agency, ito ang pahayag ni OCD RD Lord Byron Torrecarion, chair ng Regional Task Force vs COVID-19.
“Receiving po of LSIs is ongoing, pero as per national there is no longer LSIs, they are treated as returning residents po of the province already.”
Dagdag pa ni Torrecarion, sa ngayon hindi pa aprubado ng National IATF ang request para sa pansamantalang suspensiyon sa pagpapauwi ng mga LSIs sa Region 8.
“We at the Regional Task Force on COVID, we'd like to clarify that although there was a request for temporary suspension of LSIs it was not acted upon by the National Inter Agency Task Force and there is no suspension of LSIs as of this time for the region. We’d like also to clarify that the region is still under MGCQ with the exception of Tacloban which is under GCQ.”
Matatandaan na gumawa ng Resolusyon ang RIATF at RTF na humihiling sa National IATF, ng pansamantalang di pagtanggap ng mga LSIs sa Eastern Visayas subalit ito ay hindi pa inaksiyunan. (PIA-8)
