NCRPO opens additional special care facility for police frontliners

PASIG CITY, Oct. 26 (PIA) -- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has opened an additional special care facility for its police frontliners. 

NCRPO chief Police Major General Debold M. Sinas led the blessing and opening of the special care facility located at the Southern Police District (SPD) in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City recently.

According to the NCRPO, the additional facility is the seventh special care facility, which has a 22-bed capacity that can house SPD personnel who are classified with symptomatic/probable cases.

The NCRPO has currently a total of 15 Special Care Facilities with 498 bed capacities at the Regional Headquarters Compound, Camp Bagong Diwa which is being supervised by the Regional Health Service and manned by policemen who are registered doctors, nurses and graduates of other related medical courses.

Sinas also led the blessing of the Emergency Treatment Facility inside Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan in Taguig City to house PNP personnel infected with COVID-19 with mild to severe symptoms while waiting for hospital transfer.

He likewise assured the public that regardless of the fight against the deadly virus, the public can be assured that personnel of Team NCRPO are healthy, safe and free from the virus as we continue to serve in the frontlines. (PIA-NCR)
