CALAMBA CITY, Feb. 1 (PIA) - The Municipal Government of Kalayaan, Laguna is making various medical services more accessible to their constituents.
On January 29, Mayor Sandy Laganapan announced that the Municipal Health Office has rolled out its ‘Anim na Serbisyong Pangkalusugan para sa Ligtas na Lipunan’ (ASPL) program, in partnership with the Department of Health.
Immunizations for polio, deworming, measles and rubella, will be readily available through the program, which will kick off in Barangay Longos and Barangay San Juan.
Dental services, such as fluoride application and check-ups are also available to residents for free.
Parents are also encouraged to bring their children to the MHO for deworming and Vitamin A vaccines.
Meanwhile, Laganapan reminded his constituents to keep posted on the schedules for their barangays and sitios, which will be announced through the LGU’s official social media pages in the following weeks. (PB)
