CATARMAN, Northern Samar, March 1 (PIA)-- A 57 years old resident of Brgy. Nago-ocan, Catubig town, N. Samar stood in a queue waiting her turn to apply for a birth certificate during the Serbisyo Caravan.
Mrs. Nomi Pajares, a resident of Brgy. Nago-ocan, Catubig town happily expressed her gratitude to the team for visiting their place during the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP).
She availed of the services rendered and one of which is getting her registered for her Birth Certificate.
“I am so happy you came, now I can have my birth certificate, though I am a member of 4Ps I still have to comply that requirement, it is so difficult to go to town, and if we travel through Eastern Samar we don’t have that money for fare,” said Pajares.
Registration is one of the services of Serbisyo Caravan brought by Catubig Mayor Galahad Vicencio with the thoughts that there are still residents of Barangays Nago-ocan and Osang who are not registered at the Philippine Statistics Authority.
Distance and difficulty in going downhill to the town proper of Catubig town constraint the residents. (nbq/ ADiaz/PIA-Northern Samar)
