PASIG CITY, March 30 (PIA) -- The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) today said no walk-in transactions will be allowed in its branches within the Greater Metro Manila Area or NCR plus bubble in view of the implementation of the weeklong enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the area.

In an advisory posted on their Facebook page, Pag-IBIG said that its branches in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal will not accept members and walk-in transactions due to the implementation of the seven-day ECQ until Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Members are instead advised to use the drop boxes in said branches for their transactions.

Likewise, members are encouraged to access Virtual Pag-IBIG at www.pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig or call via 8PagIBIG (02-87244244); chat via www.pagibigfund.gov.ph; or email at contactus@pagibigfund.gov.ph.

Meanwhile, the state-run corporation, which provides affordable housing loans, has declared this month 93.68 percent of its net income in 2020 as dividends, which will be credited proportionately to its members' savings.

The corporation's total earnings last year reached P31.18 billion—the fourth consecutive year its net income exceeded the P30-billion mark. (PIA-NCR)
