PASIG CITY, March 8 (PIA) -- Starting today, the City Government of Pasig has opened its doors for interns via online registration for its Government Internship Program (GIP).
According to the city government, the program will take in 300 applicants on a first come, first served basis.
Applicants must fill out the online registration form. The link to the online form will be posted today (https://ift.tt/g8FRpY PasigPIO) , from 8:00AM and will be closed as soon as the slots are filled up.
Qualifications for interested applicants are as follows:
- Age: 18 to 30 years old
- Educational Attainment (any of the following)High school (old curriculum or senior high school (new curriculum) graduate
o College level
o Technical/Vocational graduate
o College graduate
- Work Experience
o No work experience
o One year or less than one-year work experience
The city's Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will notify those who have passed the first level screening. Those who passed will be requested to submit the following requirements:
- Original Application Form (printed in short bond paper)
- Photocopy of Transcript of Records/Certificate of Grades/Certificate of
- Graduation/Diploma/ Certification from school/institution or any document/proof equivalent (whichever is applicable)
- Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Original Barangay Indigency
- ID picture with white background – 1 x 1 (1 pc); 2 x 2 (1 pc)
Likewise, applicants are reminded that requirements should be submitted in a long brown envelope via Drop Box at the PESO, 4/F of Pasig City Hall.
Applicants are also reminded that the city PESO will evaluate the submitted requirements and post the list of qualified applicants. (PIA NCR)
