QC biz permits releasing open daily until April 25

CALOOCAN CITY, March 14 (PIA) -- The Quezon City Government has announced the continuous operation of its business permit office to serve more taxpayers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The permits releasing unit of the Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) will be open Mondays to Sundays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting March 21 to April 25 (except April 4, Easter Sunday) for businesses who will claim the original copy of their business permit.

The local government said Sunday releasing is open for walk-ins or those who would like to get their permit ahead of the set appointment.

Business owners may also request for a digital copy of their permit via email at records.bpld@quezoncity.gov.ph.

Earlier, the BPLD launched the Biz Easy Online Unified Business Permit Application System (OUBPAS), an online processing system of business permits applications, which was ordered for the creation of Task Force for Ease of Doing Business and Automation in the city.

As part of the city’s 14-point agenda, this will ensure to make Quezon City the preferred destination for businesses, and through this process, clients may pay at the various business centers all over Quezon City. Clients may also choose to have permits delivered personally via courier.
