PASIG CITY, April 6 (PIA) -- The management of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has announced that walk-in transactions in the state pension fund's offices within the National Capital Region Plus bubble are still suspended in order to ensure the safety of its members, pensioners and employees against COVID-19 infection.
In an advisory Monday, April 5, the GSIS said its head office in Pasay and branch offices in Quezon City, Laguna, and Bulacan will not entertain walk-in transactions until 9 April 2021, amid the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) extension.
The state-run pension fund encouraged its members, pensioners, and stakeholders to continue using online channels instead to access GSIS loans, benefits, and services.
Meanwhile, pensioners may schedule their annual pensioners information revalidation (APIR) via text or email.
The NCR, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal will remain under ECQ until April 11 to curb COVID-19 trajectory. (PIA NCR)
