Jesus Rivera, a farmer and a resident of Victoria, shared that the families living right in the middle of these farmlands are among the top beneficiaries of this project.

“Gone will be the days when we have no other choice but to walk through the dike. Now we can go and tend to our crops in the farm with ease but what makes us even happier with this new road is the thought that our children will not experience the same predicament that we have endured when we were their age,” he said.

The shortened travel time between the barangays of Maluid and Cruz brought by the new bypass road is eyed to bolster the agri-economic facets of the province ameliorating the living conditions of the farmers and their families while giving them access to their preferred destinations.
