BUTUAN CITY, May 5 -- In support of the Milk Feeding Program, Research and Development, and Extension in the region, the Department of Agriculture (DA) - Caraga handed over o Tuesday, May 4, a check amounting to P5 million to Caraga State University (CSU) for the establishment of the Dairy Goat Multiplier Breeder Farm.
Livestock program regional coordinator Jekem Sanchez personally turned over the check to Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, CSU president, with the presence of CSU vice president for Research, Innovation, and Extension Dr. Rowena P. Varela, and director for Resource Generation and Management Services Dr. Tomas Austral Jr.
The intervention is under the Nucleus and Multiplier Breeder Farms for Poultry, Swine, and Small Ruminants Project of the Bayanihan Act II of the National Livestock Program. (DA-RFO XIII, RAFIS/PIA-Caraga)
