Entrepreneurial training, livelihood kits provided to park traders

QUEZON CITY, May 28 (PIA) - The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) on Thursday hosted a training to equip businesses operating in public parks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The training, conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI), provided entrepreneurial training to park traders held at the Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium in Manila.

According to NPDC, 48 park traders received the entrepreneurial training wherein livelihood kits were also provided to them.

Under the “Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa” (PPG) program, the program aims to help individuals and groups who were affected by fire incidents, other calamities, and health pandemic such as COVID-19.

Meanwhile, the DTI also expressed willingness to tie up with NPDC in providing trainings and seminars to enhance the capability of its park traders. (PIA NCR)
