BISLIG CITY, Surigao del Sur, May 5 (PIA) -- The City Organic Agri-Fishery Tourism Complex (COAFTC) of the city government of Bislig has been granted with the Certificate of TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Program Registration (CTPR) recently.
The report said, after qualifying in the assessment, COAFTC is now a certified farm school of the city government in partnership with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Bisliganons and its neighboring municipalities can now avail the several programs offered such as:
1.) Agricultural Crops Production NC III;
2.) Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II;
3.) Animal Production (Swine) NC II; and
4.) Organic Agricultural Production NC II.
With the new programs offered in the said institution, the present administration is looking forward to the improvement of the quality of life of Bisliganons, by providing excellent services and facilitating economic opportunities.
It can be recalled that COAFTC has been the center for research, training, and learning site in the city showcasing different organic programs such as organic multi-production, organic vegetable production, organic aquaculture, fruit crops, herbs and spices, and many more.
