MANILA – Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon due to the frontal system, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday.
In its 5 p.m. weather report, the weather bureau said the frontal system may bring flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains triggered by the frontal system in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Batanes and Cagayan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.
Moderate to strong northeast to northwest winds will blow over extreme Northern Luzon with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The minimum temperature is 23.8 °C while the maximum temperature is 32.4 °C. (PNA)
