"The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by the easterlies or localized thunderstorms," Castañeda added.

She said there is no weather disturbance currently affecting the country.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over northern Luzon, eastern section of central and southern Luzon, eastern section of the Visayas Mindanao.

Strong to gale force winds are forecast over the northern seaboard of northern Luzon. Fishing boats and other small seacraft are advised not to venture into the sea, and larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
