ITCZ, easterlies bring rains showers, cloudy skies across PH

MANILA – Parts of Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday.

In its latest weather bulletin, the weather bureau said ITCZ is affecting Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Regions and residents are warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed east to southeast will blow over northern Luzon, with slight to moderate seas.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds headed east to northeast, with similar coastal water conditions.

The highest temperature of 36.5°C will be experienced in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro and Dagupan City, Pangasinan while temperature in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan will also reach 36.1°C. (PNA)
