DAGUPAN CITY –The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), together with members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), have arrested two high-value targets and seized from them PHP340,000 worth of suspected shabu.
In a radio interview on Saturday, PDEA Pangasinan officer Rechie Camacho said the two suspects identified as Edimar Maramba and Esmael Amal were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Friday afternoon.
“Their area of coverage was wide, especially in the Eastern and Western Pangasinan,” he said.
He added they have been monitoring the suspects for a couple of weeks already before the operation.
The buy-bust was conducted at Barangay Lucao this city where they confiscated 50 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of PHP340,000.
Camacho said they plan to conduct more operations to identify and arrest the supplier of illegal drugs of the suspects.
He also encouraged the public to report to them any shady people or activities in their communities. (PNA)
