A lucky bettor from Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya is the newest member of the country’s multi-millionaires’ club.
For picking the winning combination 07-34-11-26-05-06 on Saturday’s 6/42 Lotto draw, this bettor pocketed the total jackpot prize of P102,254,379.40, according to a statement released by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Sunday.
The check can be claimed at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of the winning ticket and two identification cards. The bettor has one year to claim the prize, the PCSO said.
Lotto winnings of over P10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.
Meanwhile, 69 other bettors won P24,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning numbers; 3,422 bettors will get P800 each for four correct digits; and 55,633 will settle for PHP20 each for three correct digits.
The 6/42 Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PCSO urges the public to patronize the games as a large portion of the revenues goes to the government’s charity programs.
