DA, DTI link programs to help ECQ-affected Isabeleños 

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, April 29 (PIA) – The Department of Agriculture (DA) - 2 through the Cagayan Valley Research Center (DA-CVRC) based in this city and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Isabela will be implementing their respective programs to help Isabeleños avail of the necessary nutritious foods while under the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) due to COVID – 19.

The DA-CVRC's "Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita" and the DTI's "Diskwento Caravan" on wheels are providing the communities of the province the opportunity to access basic necessities and prime commodities and fresh farm produce at discounted prices right at their respective communties.

Three teams composed of personnel from DA-CVRC and DTI – Isabela are now selling discounted basic necessities and fresh agricuture produce to different communities of Isabela at a cheaper price through the "Kadiwa Ni Ani at Kita" and "Diskwento Caravan" on wheels.

The team will continue visiting other communities in the province so that Isabeleños will avail the necessary and cheaper basic and prime commodities including fresh agriculture produce while the residents are staying at home due to the implementaiton of the ECQ.

The teams are composed of Dr. Rickson T. Baldugo - Agriculturist II, Ms. Jessica Bernardo - Science Research Technician II, Ms. Nerisa B. Laggui - SRS II and other staff from by DA-CVRC and DTI-Isabela Shared Service Facility (SSF) Technical Assistants namely Billy Joe Concepcion, Leumer Viernes and Ian Cagayan.
