BAGUIO CITY, May 4(PIA) - -Two more COVID patients in the city have recovered and were released from the hospital over the weekend.
On Saturday(May 2), the 77 year old male patient from Baguio City was discharged from the Baguio General Hospital & Medical Center(BGHMC). He was the 12th patient to be discharged from said hospital. As the oldest COVID infected case in the city and with co-morbid condition, his recovery brings ray of hope among senior COVID patients.
"We are absolutely overjoyed and was impressed at the hospital for helping so many people." the wife expressed as quoted in the BGHMC facebook post.
On Sunday, the 33- year old male nurse at the BGHMC was also cured and released from the hospital.

As of May 3, 12 noon data of Department of Health - Cordillera, of the 42 confirmed cases in the region, 20 have already recovered, 21 are admitted in health facilities and one recorded death.
For suspect cases, total number is 3,543, where 243 are admitted in hospitals, 996 under home/facility quarantine and 2,304 already discharged. The same report shows 2,504 possible cases that are under monitoring while completing their 14-day home quarantine.
No new confirmed case is recorded since the April 27 bulletin. The provinces of Apayao, Mountain Province and Kalinga remain with zero confirmed case. (PIA-CAR)
