BuCor partners with NCRPO in fighting COVID-19

CALOOCAN CITY, May 26 (PIA) -- The Bureau of Corrections-New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa is grateful to receive COVID-19 Testing Kits from the NCRPO Regional Health Service.

Some 800 Rapid Test Kits were handed over to the NBP Hospital which will continue the testing activity in the next days.

A total of 1000 test kits were donated to BuCor on top of the earlier 500 Rapid Test Kits that were donated two weeks ago and used on the testing of BuCor personnel.

Further the NCRPO health service team led by PLT Rhodelyn Dingrat , also conducted a COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Testing on 200 elderly PDLs (Person Deprived of Liberty) from the Maximum Security Compound of the NBP.

The BuCor said, the Rapid Testing will help the NBP administration in its assessment of the prevailing CoVid-19 situation at the Maximum Security Compound and act accordingly and adjust its response plans should there be need for adjustment. (BuCor/PIA-NCR)
