MisOcc gives cash incentives to frontliners

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental, May 15 (PIA)-- All frontliners working during this time time of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Misamis Occidental have received cash incentives from the provincial government of Misamis Occidental. 

The provincial government distributed cash allowances worth P1,500 to P2,500 to the frontliners of Oroquieta City, and the municipalities of Aloran, Lopez Jaena and Plaridel.

The province handed-over the cash assistance to the municipalities of Clarin, Sinacaban, Jimenez and Panaon, and Ozamiz City last May 11-12.

A total of P2.1 million has been alloted by the provincial government for the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau Fire Protection (BFP), City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO), Health Workers, Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERTS) and other significant volunteers who serve selflessly during this pandemic.

Congressman Henry Oaminal, on the other hand, gave P1,000 each to Barangay Health Worker (BHW), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), Barangay Peacekeeping  Action Team (BPATs), and barangay officials.
