PASIG CITY, June 25 (PIA) – The Pasig City Government has suspended the operation of a business establishment in the city after for violating afety and health protocols set by the government during the quarantine period.
The city’s surveillance/monitoring team caught personnel of a bakeshop operating without wearing the required facemask.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto on Wednesday said on his Facebook page said that the establishment’s operation has been suspended for a week.
“We want you to be able do business smoothly. So please make sure you are following our health protocols,” Sotto said to all business owners.

The local chief reiterated the need to always the minimum health safety guidelines such as implementing of social distancing, wearing of face masks, and ensuring proper hygiene to help prevent the spread of COVID19.
“Isipin niyo na lang po – kahit na kumita kayo ngayon, kung mag-spike na naman ang kaso ng covid, paano na?” expressed Sotto.
Meanwhile, Mayor Sotto also called on the general public to continue to help the city’s monitoring team and to report businesses that are violating the minimum safety guidelines. (Pasig City/PIA-NCR)
