“This support from the LGU will aid schools in our municipality to reproduce learning materials for modular modalities which will be used by Lagayan learners,” Crisologo said in an interview.

Most of the learners are enrolled under the modular modality and these equipment will boost the reproduction of learning materials.  This is one of the support of the LGU in continually upholding the delivery of basic quality education amid the Covid-19 pandemic wherein regular face to face classes are not yet allowed, the mayor said.

The LGU also continues to partner with national agencies in order to sustain livelihood in the municipality during this period of health crisis. Recently, the LGU turned over fishing gears for fisherfolks under the “Balik-Sigla sa Ilog at Lawa” program of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Recourses. (JDP/CAGT-PIA CAR, Abra)
