
PASIG CITY, August 6 (PIA) -- The City Government of Pasig reminds residents of the curfew hours in the city while Metro Manila is again placed under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
In a Facebook post, the local government said the curfew hours in the city will be reverted back to 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in accordance with the Sangguniang Panlungsod Ordinance No. 34, s. 2020 issued on Wednesday.
The curfew is part of the city's efforts to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Everyone in Pasig is expected to stay indoors during the duration of curfew except for the following:
- People going to work or returning home from work
- People buying food or essential supplies
- People responding to emergencies
- People traveling for medical or health reasons
Checkpoints along the city’s border with the municipality of Taytay, Rizal has also been put up.
The city government also reminds residents to stay at home except for essential travel. (PIA-NCR)
