PASIG CITY, Aug. 15 (PIA) – Starting Saturday, August 15, the emergency room of the Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH) will be temporarily closed until August 19, Wednesday. 
On his Facebook page, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto announced the temporary closure of PCGH's emergency room and advised residents to call the city’s OpCen for emergency cases.
“Kapag may emergency, tumawag muna sa 8-643-0000 (puwede kahit walang load).”
Sotto explained the need to temporarily close the hospital’s emergency room as he called for understanding and enjoined Pasiguneños to continue to support and pray for the frontliners.
“Iniiwasan natin ang ganitong pagsara ng ER, pero marami po sa kanila ang kailangan mag-quarantine. Kung mananatili silang bukas ay masasakripisyo rin ang kanilang serbisyo sa mga pasyente.”
