Vizcaya brgys get fund aid for community projects

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Aug. 24 (PIA) - At least three barangays in the province received funding assistance from the provincial government for the implementation of their community projects.

Governor Carlos Padilla handed P1.5 million for barangay Sta. Rosa in Bayombong, P300,000 for barangay Aliaga in Bambang town, P2 million for barangay Lupa and P500,000 for barangay Muta, all in Kasibu town.

He said the assistance for barangay Sta. Rosa in Bayombong will be used for the construction of roads for its purok 5 and 6 while the one for barangay Aliaga will be used for the improvement of Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs).

The assistance for barangays Lupa and Muta in upland Kasibu town will be used for the construction of a Multi-Purpose Hall and opening and tirepathing of a FMR respectively.

Rodinante Barnacha, Sta. Rosa barangay captain said the assistance was a big help for them since they only have meager budget for development projects.

"We are grateful for this assistance. Rest assured that this will benefit our villagers in general," he said.

The assistance were given through the Grants and Aids of Governor Carlos Padilla.(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
