OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental, Sep. 7 (PIA)--Three drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation jointly conducted by elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Misamis Occidental Provincial Office and Oroquieta City Police Station, September 3.
The operation resulted to the confiscation of a total of 13 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P13,000.
The arrested suspects were identified as John Paul Galvez Cabatcha, male, 22, (priority person of interest of PDEA 10), Bernie Manila Meralles, male, 35, and Amiel Cahucom Obuga, male, 23. All of them are currently residing at Purok 6, Poblacion II, Oroquieta City, here.
The confiscated pieces of drug evidence were forwarded to Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratoy, Oroquieta City for qualitative and quantitative examination.
Cases for violation of RA 9165 are being prepared for filing before the court against the arrested suspects. (PDEA MisOcc/SMRN)
