“Nevertheless, we are happy we got President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go response to our plea for help very, very quickly. We are just happy and inspired that the national government no less than the President, Sen. Go and Executive Secretary Medialdea have been very supportive and if we can work together with their support and guidance, we will have a good chance of beating COVID-19,” Leonardia said.
He likened the experience in Bacolod City now like going under a tunnel as this is serious and heavy for the city.
“With the presence of the team that the President has sent us, we feel that we have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. But of course, it is a question of when do we get there? We are pretty sure that we are moving towards it and we continuously ask for the support of the national government. We know in the end we will survive,” Leonardia added.
Leonardia also thanked the dedication and commitment of Gen. Feliciano who crisscrosses Bacolod City and Iloilo City on a daily basis to help
