CALOOCAN CITY, Sept. 22 (PIA) -- The Pag-IBIG Fund is encouraging its loan borrowers, who have the capacity to pay, to continue settle their payments in order to help the agency maintain its low interest rates.
"Hinihikayat din po namin lahat po ng ating mga borrowers naman na may kapasidad na magbayad na patuloy na magbayad kasi habang tayong lahat ay nagbabayad, mas kayang mapanatili ng Pag-IBIG Fund iyong napakababang interest rates," Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Acmad Rizaldy Moti said in Laging Handa Public Briefing on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Moti, however, assured those who have Pag-IBIG loans can always seek help from the Pag-IBIG Fund.
"Iyong mga nangangailangan ng financial help from Pag-IBIG Fund ay makakaasa po kayo na ang Pag-IBIG Fund ay naririto lagi," he said.
He added that the agency's services is committed in its motto, "Lingkod Pag-IBIG, Tapat na Serbisyo Mula sa Puso."
"At kami naman pong inyong mga lingkod-Pag-IBIG ay patuloy din pong naghahanap ng pamamaraan para mas makatulong pa," he said.
Meanwhile, Moti reported that the total net assets of Pag-IBIG Fund continuously grew from P603-billion in December 2019 to P640-billion in August this year.
"In the last three years under the Duterte Administration, pinagbuti pa natin na mapatatag or mapalakas lalo ang ating pondo," Moti said.
He said that rest assured that through Pag-IBIG Fund we are able to help members especially those who are in dire need of help during this public health crisis. (PIA-NCR)
