TESDA-NCR leads first Multiplier Training for Contact Tracing Level II Program

PASIG CITY, Sept. 13 (PIA) - The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) led the conduct of the first-ever Multiplier Training to intensify the Contact Tracing Level II Program. 

Last September 10, the 30 participant-trainers from the six districts of the National Capital Region – CAMANAVA, MANILA, MUNTIPARLASTAPAT, PAMAMARISAN, PASKMAK, and QUEZON CITY participated in said training which will run for seven days. 

The full online, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous approaches are being led by Dr. Joel John Dela Merced and Dr. Joey Cadano.

TESDA NCR Regional Director Florencio F. Sunico, Jr. expressed his happiness how the region responds when it is being called upon at this time of crisis, to do something to help and serve the community. 

He shared that this training is really time-bound, as it has to serve its purpose at present. The region decided to start with the Multiplier Training soon after the launch of the Contact Tracing Level II Program at the TESDA NCR MuntiParLasTaPat District to create a pool of competent trainers to increase the conduct of training.

According to TESDA-NCR, the trainers who will soon complete the program will be joining in the frontline service.

Also present in the opening program are TESDA-NCR District Directors Roland Dela Torre, Archie Grande, Rosalinda Talavera, Juliet Orozco, Atty. Balmyrson Valdez, and Mariflor Liwanag.

The TESDA-NCR officials will also lead the post-training assistance to the first batch of graduates on their deployment. The officials will likewise continue to train future Certified Contact Tracers. (TESDA-NCR/PIA-NCR)
