DAVAO CITY, Sept. 4 (PIA) - The Office of Civil Defense XI, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology and Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS), will be holding a webinar on September 8, 1:00 p.m.
The webinar will discuss the challenges that could be brought by the occurrence of earthquakes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council-XI has invited its member agencies, local government DRRRM council members, state universities and colleges, government owned and controlled corporations.
The webinar aims to provide learning that will educate and increase knowledge of the general public to understand earthquake hazards, to prepare for and to respond to earthquakes amidst the pandemic.
Only the first 100 participants will be accommodated to the webinar zoom platform. Those who will not reach the cut-off time can still stream via Faceboook Live at the Office of Civil Defense Davao Region page. (PIA/RG Alama).
