TMRU is a great help in the crime prevention and anti-criminality programs of NCRPO. We are doing a more strategized police intervention in order to deny opportunities for criminals at the same time immediately respond to any untoward incident in the streets of metropolis,” said NCRPO chief Police Major General Debold M. Sinas.

The Philippine National Police has ordered activation of PNP marshals/operatives in motorcycle and validation of crime groups involved in motorcycle riding incidents following the pronouncement of President Rodrigo Duterte to train and increase the mobile capacity of police officers in the streets.

NCRPO’s TMRU personnel are deployed in crime prone areas to enhance police presence and visibility. The strategic deployment aims to sustain motorcycle patrol operations and minimize the occurrence of street crimes. (NCRPO/PIA-NCR)
