PNP sends off 2,033 police personnel  under Localization of Assignments Program

CALOOCAN CITY, Nov. 10 (PIA) -- In a ceremonial send-off on Monday, Nov. 9, the Philippine National Police (PNP) affected the reassignment and swapping of 2,033 police personnel who will go back to their respective home towns.

This is under the 2nd salvo of the Localization of Assignments Program, which the PNP Chief said that it aims to improve work performance, morale and welfare of police personnel across the country.

“To our personnel who will go back to their hometowns, serve your community with passion and care so our people can truly say "ang Pulis Ko'y Respetado, Responsable, at Disiplinado,” PNP Chief PGen. Camilo Cascolan said.

The PNP Chief also ordered that all of their sending units are directed to facilitate the clearances, certifications and other requirements needed and as well as to ensure travel health protocols are observed. 

Since September, the Philippine National Police, through the Directorate for Personnel Records and Management (DPRM) has redeployed 2,222 PNP personnel to their hometown assignments where they are now performing their duty.  (PIA NCR)
