SM malls open doors for typhoon-affected residents

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Nov. 1 (PIA) - - - Although management of the SM malls here in the Cagayan Valley Region announced today that they will close early due to typhoon 'Rolly', its doors are open for residents affected by typhoon needing temporary shelter.

SM City Cauayan Press Relations Manager Krystal Gayle Agbulig said typhoon-affected residents are welcome at their mall for temporary shelter especially those living in the low-lying areas and were affected by flooding.

Based on the latest weather bulletin of PAGASA, the province of Isabela where the mall is located, was placed under Signal No. 1.

On the other hand, Gerina Rose Malubay-Torno, SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown press relations officer, said overnight parking charges are also waived.

She added that the mall ais also offering Free WiFi services and has established charging stations at designated areas.

Cagayan, where the SM Center Tuguegarao Downtown is located, was palced under Signal No. 2 in PAGASA's latest weather bulletin. (MDCT/PIA-2)
