PASIG CITY, Dec. 24 (PIA) -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announces the schedule of the Pasig River Ferry Service (PRFS) this holiday season.
In an advisory, the schedule of ferry operations are as follows:
December 24, 2020 – Half day operation
December 25, 2020 – No operation
December 26, 2020 – Resumption of operation
December 31, 2020 – No operation
January 1, 2021 – No operation
January 2, 2021 – Resumption of normal operation
Earlier this month, MMDA opened its ferry service on Sunday for the whole month of December where passengers can enjoy free ferry rides from Monday to Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According to the MMDA, operational stations ready to serve passengers are: Pinagbuhatan and San Joaquin in Pasig City; Guadalupe in Makati City; Hulo in Mandaluyong City; Lambingan, Sta. Ana, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Escolta and Lawton in Manila City.
The PRFS is requiring passengers to wear face masks and face shields and undergo temperature check as part of strict enforcement of health and safety protocols against COVID-19. (PIA-NCR)
