CALOOCAN CITY, Dec. 26 (PIA) -- Amidst the pandemic, the season of giving and sharing continues as the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) led a gift-giving and supplemental feeding program to some 300 street children in Manila.

NCRPO chief Police Brigadier General Vicente Danao led the gift giving activity and feeding program to 300 rescued street children and 70 families in Manila as part of NCRPO’s “Kaagapay Ko" Tapat, May Tapang at Malasakit para sa Mamamayan held at the Luneta Open Auditorium, Rizal Park, Manila on Thursday, Dec. 24.

“Narito kami ngayon para mamahagi sa inyo ang ng konting pagkain at pinansyal na tulong para sa inyo, alam kong ito ay hindi sapat pero sana ay makatulong ito sa inyo. Ito po ang paraan ng inyong abang lingkod na maibahagi kahit konti yung ating natatanggap na biyaya. This is our way of celebrating Christmas lalong-lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya,” said Danao.

Regardless of the current health crisis the country is facing, Team NCRPO continues to implement programs that aims to aid people affected by COVID-19 and the recent storms that struck the country.

Likewise, Team NCRPO finds ways to give and share its blessings especially to children.

To recall, the NCRPO is regional office of the Philippine National Police in Metro Manila in-charge of peace and order in its 17 local government units. (PIA-NCR)
