CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Jan. 25 (PIA) - More than 1,000 soldiers from the 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army (5I

D, PA) in partnership with the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) have undergone a free swab test to ensure that soldiers in the said army division are free from COVID-19.
Lt. Col. Aldren Pico, OIC Camp Melchor Dela Cruz Station Hospital head said the swab test was conducted on January 23, 2021 at the camp’s gymnasium by health personnel of 5ID, PA Station Hospital which aims to ensure the soldiers' safety, security and continuity of their services as frontliners.
“Soldiers are prone to COVID-19 accumulation as we are frontlines in the fight against Covid-19. We always advise our soldiers to practice health protocols while on duty,” Pico said.
Aside from the soldiers, civilian resource personnel of the camp were also subjected to the same test by the 5ID, PA station hospital. (BME/MGE/PIA 2-/Isabela)
