PRO6 recognizes cops to highlight PNP ‘Ethics Day’

ILOILO CITY, Jan. 5 (PIA) – Deserving cops in Western Visayas were recognized by the Police Regional Office 6 as highlight of the celebration of  27th PNP Ethics Day Celebration.

Major Jojo Tabaloc and PSSgt Jade Po Jorillo of Iloilo Police Provincial Office, and Police Lieutenant Paul Vincent Pendon and PCpl Adonis Cabalhin of Bacolod City Police Office were awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan for the successful buybust operations they conducted in their respective units.

On the other hand, PCpl Ramje Siapno Guevarra of Capiz PPO was also given Medalya ng Papuri for his “good deeds” by returning a lost wallet containing P40,000 in cash.

This year’s event is anchored on the theme “Nagkakaisang Pambansang Pulisya Sama-sama sa Serbisyong Tapat at Marangal para sa Bayan” with National Police Commission 6 Regional Director Joseph Celis as guest of honor and speaker.

In his message, Celis expressed appreciation and gratitude to the men and women of Police Regional Office 6 for their contribution in the maintenance of peace and order and for their dedication in protecting the people of Western Visayas.

“I can see that it is not easy to wear those boots,”  Celis said as he recognized the efforts of PNP in law enforcement and field service.

He added that he appreciates the selfless service of the policemen in Western Visayas who put service before their loved ones.

Likewise, Celis reminded the police personnel to take care of their families, too, for they draw their strength in them.

The PNP Ethics Day is celebrated annually to remind all police personnel the importance of good moral and ethics in doing their day-to-day obligation.
