BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, March 12 (PIA) - Governor Carlos Padilla has ordered the temporary closure of the provincial government following the COVID-19 infection of at least three government workers.
Padilla in his order today said the provincial capitol will be closed from March 15 to 19 to allow health workers to disinfect various offices.
Dr. Edwin Galapon, Provincial Health Officer said he recommended the temporary closure of the provincial capitol after two workers of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) along with an employee of a national government agency were found positive for COVID-19.
"We will conduct disinfection immediately within the buildings and facilities of the provincial capitol," Padilla said.
The governor also advised affected provincial government offices and national government agencies to implement their Work From Home (WFH) arrangements during the temporary closure of the provincial capitol. (MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
