ILOILO CITY, April 27 (PIA) – The Iloilo City Government will be holding a summer art workshop as part of the activities for the celebration of Labor Day on May 1, 2021.
City mayor Jerry Treñas said the workshop dubbed “Art in the Park” is an open space art workshop that will be conducted together with Ilonggo artists.
“Art in open spaces is popular in foreign countries. It gives venue for artists to hone their craft and enjoy the beautiful scenery,” he said.
A total of 15 individuals will be admitted to this art workshop at Iloilo River Esplanade 1 at 4 P.M.
“We aspire to celebrate the beauty of the City of Love by promoting its people and urban spaces,” Treñas added. (JSC/LTP/PIA6 Iloilo)
