200 shooters join in PD Benguet Markmanship Proficiency Shoot

La Trinidad, BENGUET, May 28 (PIA) -- More than 200 practical shooters participated in the “PD Benguet, PCol. Rene Pasiwen Markmanship Proficiency Upliftment and Competition”  at Camp Bado Dangwa Firing Range  over the weekend.

The purpose of the shooting event is the enhance the shooting skills and competence of our police personnel  in their everyday duty, Pasiwen said.

For the civilian practical shooters and other responsible gun holders , we are reminding  them to handle their firearms as prescribed  by the law especially that the national election period is near, Pasiwen emphasized. He assured that  the participants adhered  to  the minimum safety  protocols   like the wearing of face masks  and physical distancing. 

Shooter are you ready? Retired Prosecutor Willaim Bacoling is set to shoot the course of fire.

Classic champion is Dr. Bernie Casusi, Production champion is Boy Torogi, while Standard champion is Marvin Ngayawan.

Production Optic DivisionChampion  is Gilbert Atioan, Production Optic Lite Division is Ramon Gualberto while  Mini Rifle champion is Daveson Esquero.

In the Senior Category champion is Gilbert Atioan, Super senior champion is William Bacoling and Junior champion is Joshua Baybayan.

Lady category champion is Merriam Puddunan, Production lady champion is Val Belingan, Standard lady champ is Junetan Alcantara.

Lawman Classic Champion is Ruel La Pena, Production Lawman Champion is Boy Torogi,  while Standard Champion is Arnold Unabia,.

Benguet champion is PSSg Jifford Sumcad, Police Lady Champion is PCPI Marifie Dulnuan and Police Open Champion is PCol, Reynaldo Pasiwen.

Range Officer and Police Executive Master Sergent  Rohel Bilibli expressed his gratitude to the sponsors, those who helped  in the set up of the five exciting and challenging stages,  and  the shooters for their cooperation and support to the success of the  shooting event.
