PASIG CITY, May 15 (PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry National Capital Regional Office (DTI NCRO) is inviting micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Metro Manila for a free webinar next week on how to process Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certification.
This free webinar will help MSMEs learn how to apply their products for licensing at the FDA.
The free webinar dubbed "FDA LICENSING PROCESSES AND REQUIREMENTS" with speaker from the FDA will be held on May 17 (Monday), from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The DTI continuously provides free webinars to help MSMEs bounce back to business.
To recall, the FDA regulates certain products in the Philippines. These include food, medical and pharmaceutical products, and cosmetics. A company dealing in these products needs an FDA certificate for product registration.
The FDA is an agency under the Department of Health (DOH). It is responsible for the licensing, monitoring, and regulation of the following:
- Food and beverages
- Cosmetics
- Drugs and/or pharmaceuticals
- Medical devices
- Vaccines
- Household hazardous products
- Pesticides
